Your GP for Teenagers in Mona Vale: Confidential Teen Health Care
Helping teens feel heard, safe and supported
Caring for Teenagers’ Health and Well-being in Mona Vale
Teenagers can move through a lot in a short amount of time. One week it’s stress about school, the next it’s headaches and mood shifts. And because teens don’t always share what’s going on, it can be hard for you to know when they need reassurance, a check-in, or more structured support.
At our Mona Vale clinic, we’re here to make things easier. Our GPs understand how to connect with young people, giving them space to talk openly about what’s on their mind.
Whether it’s anxiety about school, mood swings, headaches, sports injuries, periods, acne, relationship concerns, or simply the need to talk to someone who’s not Mum or Dad — our GPs take the time to listen and guide them. And while we respect your teen’s privacy and growing independence, we also make sure you stay informed in a way that supports your role as a caregiver.
Because when teens feel safe, understood, and in control, they’re far more likely to get the care they need, and that’s a win for everyone.

Meet Our Caring GPs
At Mona Vale Doctors, we understand that teens are more likely to open up when they feel genuinely understood. Our team of GPs includes Dr Cindy Wong, Dr Michelle Penm, Dr Kathryn Hutt, Dr Marianthe Sakiris and Dr Staś Ulaszyn who work hard to create a safe, respectful and comfortable environment for young people.
Each doctor brings strong experience in paediatrics, family medicine and adolescent health, with training from settings such as Sydney Children’s Hospital and community paediatrics. Many also hold additional qualifications in areas like child health, public health and sexual and reproductive health. This ensures your teen receives care from clinicians who understand both their medical needs and the everyday pressures that can affect their wellbeing.
Our nurses play an important role too. Nurse Anna Bruce offers extensive experience in youth and family health, while Nurse Hannah Johnston brings a calm, supportive approach that helps even shy or anxious teens feel at ease.
Whether your teenager needs help with stress, physical concerns, sexual health questions, or simply wants to talk to someone outside the family, our team is here with compassion, confidentiality, and practical guidance.
