Mona Vale Doctors is currently seeking two General Practitioners to join our team as we continue to grow thoughtfully. We are a well-established, privately owned, GP-led practice serving the Mona Vale and wider Northern Beaches community.
This role is suited to GPs who want to practise high-quality medicine in a supportive environment - without burnout, pressure to churn, or corporate interference. Skin Cancer & Procedural Skills
Dr Michelle Penm is willing to share her extensive experience in:
skin cancer checks
dermoscopy
skin cancer excision and minor procedures
This is ideal for GPs who wish to develop or refine procedural skills and broaden their scope of practice in a supported setting.

Private billing with a family‑oriented Northern Beaches patient base

The Role
We are flexible and will tailor the role to the right doctor.
Ongoing part‑time or full‑time GP arrangements (contractor model)
Flexible session arrangements (including school‑friendly hours) to support work–life balance
Opportunity to build or grow special interests within a supportive team environment
No pressure to increase volume or compromise clinical standards
There are no KPIs, no productivity quotas, and no pressure to practise in a way that doesn’t align with your values.
Financial Arrangements
We offer transparent, competitive financial arrangements and are happy to discuss individual circumstances in detail.
Percentage‑based remuneration with a guaranteed minimum during your initial period
Private billing
Established patient demand to support consistent and sustainable earnings
Detailed income projections, billing structure, and individual arrangements are discussed as part of a confidential conversation, once we understand your preferred sessions and scope of practice.
For GPs interested in long‑term involvement, there is scope to discuss future partnership opportunities based on mutual fit and interest.
Work Arrangements

Part‑time or full‑time options
Flexible session numbers and daily hours
No mandatory after‑hours or weekend work
Leave supported with locum coverage arranged by the practice

A VR GP / FRACGP (or equivalent)
Recently Fellowed and seeking a safe, supportive first practice
A mid‑career GP interested in developing additional skills (e.g., skin cancer medicine)

A sign‑on incentive may be available and discussed on an individual basis
Relocation support may be available for interstate or overseas candidates
