ADHD Continuation Prescribing on the Northern Beaches
Safe, supportive ongoing ADHD care close to home
Ongoing ADHD Support on the Northern Beaches
If you already have an ADHD diagnosis and your medication is working well, finding a local GP who can continue your care can make life feel much simpler.
At Mona Vale Doctors, we support eligible children, teens and adults who are stable on treatment. We work with you and your specialist’s care plan to help manage ongoing prescriptions, regular reviews and your general health.
Having a regular local GP can reduce the stress of repeating your history and make ongoing reviews easier to manage.
Our approach is safe, structured and judgement-free. You will have time to ask questions, talk through any concerns and feel confident about the next steps in your care.
Who We Can Help With ADHD Prescribing
At Mona Vale Doctors, there are two options for ongoing ADHD prescriptions. The right option depends on whether you are already a patient and whether you meet the requirements for safe, ongoing prescribing.
Dr Cindy Wong: existing patients only
If Dr Cindy Wong is already your regular GP, she may be able to continue your ADHD medication in line with the treatment plan from your paediatrician or psychiatrist. This allows you to manage your ADHD care and general health with a doctor who already knows you.
Dr Staś Ulaszyn: new and existing patients
Dr Staś Ulaszyn supports eligible patients aged six and over who need ongoing ADHD medication prescribing. He welcomes both existing patients and new patients who are looking for a regular local GP.
To help make sure your care is safe and suitable, you will need to:
Have seen your paediatrician or psychiatrist in the past six months.
Bring a letter confirming your ADHD diagnosis and current medication, including the dose and strength.
Be stable on your current medication dose.
Choose Dr Staś as your regular GP for both ADHD care and your broader health needs.
Register with Dr Staś through MyMedicare.
